Every year, Connected Events plans and manages the International Women’s Day Women + Wealth Gala, bringing together women from across Alberta for an evening of inspiration, connection, and empowerment. The 2026 Women + Wealth Gala was held at the Edmonton Convention Centre, with Connected Events providing full-service event planning, marketing, sponsorship management, and event execution to create a seamless and memorable experience for attendees.
The 2026 gala featured an inspiring lineup of speakers, including keynote speaker Raia “Coach” Carey, a certified life coach and speaker known for her empowering message of confidence, resilience, and personal growth. Guests also heard from Lauren Kyle McDavid, entrepreneur, creative director, and founder of multiple lifestyle and design ventures, who shared insights on creativity, entrepreneurship, and building purpose-driven brands. The evening was hosted by award-winning journalist and community advocate Joelle Tomlinson, whose engaging presence guided guests through an evening of meaningful conversations, networking, and celebration.
